News from N.A.U.I.
Minimum Age Requirement for Participation in
Scuba Diving Classes is Ten (10) Years of Age
N.A.U.I. (National Association of Underwater Instructors)
previously stated within their policies that students must be
twelve (12) years of age in order to participate in scuba diving classes.

That standard has been revised.
The minimum age requirement for participation in scuba diving classes
is now ten (10) years of age.
