Learn to SCUBA Dive in the Campus Pool at Lake Superior State University .

Your underwater adventures begin here! When you've finished this course and open water dives you'll be ready to explore underwater all over the world. Learn about dive equipment, the science of diving, responsible diving practices, the environment and diving careers.

SCUBA Diving Certification Course includes:

  • NAUI eLearning online (Study at home, at your own pace)
  • 3 Pool Sessions ~ October 1-3, 2019, 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
  • 1 Class Session ~ on the LSSU Pool Observation Deck
  • Open Water Checkout Dives at Higgins Lake ~ You choose your date (October 4 & 5, October 12 & 13, or November 2 & 3)
  • New mask, snorkel, fins, boots & gear bag for each student to keep ~ INCLUDED!
  • eLearning Online ~ INCLUDED!
  • NAUI registration, digital certification card and plastic certification card ~ INCLUDED!
  • SCUBA gear provided for pool sessions and open water certifications dives​

Enrollment Requirements: Individuals 10+, in good physical health are invited to enroll

Course meets on all dates noted in the introduction above. PLEASE BE SURE YOU CAN ATTEND ALL LISTED DATES PRIOR TO ENROLLING.

Full SCUBA Diver Certification Course Fee, including all training materials, training, certification registration, use of dive gear and new mask, snorkel, fins, boot and mesh gear bag: $749 per person

All students must complete required paperwork, and be in good physical condition, prior to participating in pool sessions. Upon receipt of your class fee, we will contact you about how to proceed with finalizing your course registration. We'll discuss with you training materials, equipment and all necessary forms.

Of the deposit fee, $200 is non-refundable if a student drops from the class for any reason other than a medical condition, or the class is canceled by Dive & Glide. However, the fee is transferable, or you may reschedule to a different date.

  • SCUBA Open Water Diver Course


    The training fee for this course is $749. A deposit of $550 is due upon registration. The balance of $199 is due on or before 9/20/2019.
